5.2 Ghostscript stackunderflow error

Some Ghostscript versions, _e.g._  9.10, have an error in color handling
when converting to pdf: selecting "printer" as target may lead to an
error 'stackunderflow in .setdistillerparams'.  If you run into this,
use the "default" or "prepress" target instead.
