'-c'
     A do-nothing option included for POSIX compliance.

'-h, -?, --help'
     generates a "help" summary of 'flex''s options to 'stdout' and then
     exits.

'-n'
     Another do-nothing option included for POSIX compliance.

'-V, --version'
     prints the version number to 'stdout' and exits.
