KMI/CSCI Computer Science
The course consists of a series of talks on computer science topics given by students and lecturers.

Seminar: Wednesday 9:45--11:15 (LP-1024)
Requirements
To complete the course students are required to:
- attend
8 of 12 6 of 10 seminars,
- present two topics:
- one about any appropriate computer science topic of their choice
(not covered in any other course)
- one about their master's or bachelor's thesis;
- Each presentation should be 20-25 minutes long + 5 minutes for questions and answers.
- The presentations should be supported by visuals (slides).
- prepare an extended abstract of their thesis (in English; 2 pages);
Suggested topics:
- data structures and algorithms
- (new or interesting) programming languages
- database systems
- data analysis
- data mining
- computer security and privacy
- parallel and concurrent programming
- distributed systems
- network algorithms
